Force Flow Equipment: Manufacturers of industrial scales and sensors for industrial process control. Helped install their first ACCPAC Plus accounting system in 1986. Installed Novell netware server and ethernet network in 1995 when they expanded to new office in Concord. Transitioned to SBT accounting from ACCPAC starting in July 1999, cutting over January 2000. Upgraded to Netware 5.1 in 2001.

 

NonProfits' United: A non-profit insurance pool, providing vehicle insurance to non-profit organizations. Started in 1992 with a rewrite of a premium calculation program from Paradox into dBFast for Windows, with an interface to transfer invoice data to ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable. Installed their first network in 1994 and revised their software to run as a network application under Foxpro 2.6. Installed a network modem router in 1998 and built their first web page. Added driver and accident data and insurance certificates tables in 1999. Upgraded to Visual FoxPro 6.0 and built a custom interface to post invoice data into SBT Pro 6.0 accounting in 2000. Installed DSL and Linux Firewall in 2000.



Radiator Exchange: An Auto Parts distributor in Wisconsin, running ACCPAC Plus software customized in 1990 to support a secondary parts database with side-by-side lookup windows to assist in compatibility checks. Built Foxpro system for compatible parts lookup in 1998, modified and packaged for distribution in 1999. Most recent project was custom label program to print oversize labels for part numbers.



Moore Iacofano Goltsman Inc. (MIG): A landscape architecture and regional planning firm based in Berkeley, California. Initial contact in 1994 to help implement ACCPAC Plus Job Costing software. Worked with network consultants Global Network Solutions to transition from Lantastic to Windows NT network in 1998. Implemented removable disk drive server for archival storage of inactive project files in 1999.
Worked with accounting department and Deltek to implement Advantage accounting software in 2000. Recent projects include building and maintaining web servers to host client web sites that interact with databases to capture user survey data. Helped integrate SQL services with MIG wide area network and provide desktop access to their Advantage 6 time and billing system for all MIG employees, including those at branch offices in Oregon and California.
